Ms Dell'Olio plans to spend celebrate with 'two days of partying in Puglia, in Italy, where I spent many of my childhood summers', she told online community www.high50.com.
She added: ‘Barack Obama turns 50 this year too. I have something in common with him: everyone’s always asking to see our birth certificates!’
Other celebrities at the annual star-studded summer society bash, which was hosted by Burberry, included the label’s creative director Christopher Bailey, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Yasmin and Simon Le Bon, Erin O’ Connor, Laura Bailey.
All money raised from the party will go to the gallery’s internationally acclaimed contemporary art, architecture, design and education programmes.
